The Studio
The
beautiful, airy, studio space has a maple wood floor and
is seventy two metres square. It is fully equipped for
Iyengar Yoga being complete with mats, blocks, blankets,
belts and bolsters. Please come in your yoga
kit ie non restrictive clothing like a tee shirt and shorts
or leggings.
The all week round programme currently has 14 classes to suit all levels. These courses are organised in three six week modules which follow on from each other. You can join mid way ie at stage 2 or 3 please ask for more info if necessary.
To help you find
a suitable level, descriptions are given below.
Foundation
These classes and courses take you from step one and require
no previous experience. Do not eat anything substantial
for a couple of hours before the class. Remember to mention
if you have injuries or medical conditions.
Beginners plus
These courses follow on from the Foundation ones
and are designed to take you on to begin to attend general
classes. They are also suitable for people returning to
yoga after an absence. This level would also be perfect
for those who have done some yoga in another tradition and
want to learn the basics of the Iyengar system. These classes and courses follow on from Foundation. Hence the general level one and two on the timetable.

General
These classes are aimed at those with a good grounding in
Iyengar Yoga. They are varied and stimulating featuring
a range of poses from the level 1 and 2 national teaching
syllabus.
Intermediate
You will need a minimum of three years regular and recent
Iyengar experience to attend these classes. Please ask your
teacher or Ursula herself if you wish to attend. Teacher
training By application Minimum three years regular Iyengar
experience.
